Our Strategic Objectives

  • Develop and implement training programs to build the skills and expertise of local researchers, policymakers, and community stakeholders in global health research and implementation science.
  • Establish collaborative partnerships with academic institutions, research centers, and community organizations in low- and middle-income countries to foster knowledge exchange and joint research projects.
  • Conduct implementation science research to identify effective strategies for translating global health evidence into sustainable, context-appropriate policies and practices.
  • Engage with local decision-makers and community leaders to understand their needs and priorities and co-create research agendas that address pressing global health challenges.
  • Disseminate research findings through diverse channels, including peer-reviewed publications, policy briefs, and community-tailored communication materials.
  • Adopt a CBPR approach to meaningfully involve community members, practitioners, and other stakeholders in all stages of the research process, from problem identification to intervention design and evaluation.
  • Facilitate the development of community-based organizations and networks to empower local leadership and ownership of global health initiatives.
  • Support the integration of community-generated knowledge and lived experiences into the design and implementation of global health programs and policies.
